  • I have heard that personally from another person with whom I work. My conclusion on that is that medicine does help some children to focus. At that the same time, there are often other reasons that children turn around other than medicine, which are attributed to medicine.

  • A good point made about working kids through it. Because children don't often discern the difference between fantasy and reality, parnts need to guide their children to understand the difference.

  • Big Pharm is just doing the same thing, basically, legally. You get the doctor today, in some states to write a prescription for marijuana, or some other drug, used to be Valium, now its Xanax, basically, the same idea. Still think it's better to do it naturally.

  • This is what we need to teach children, learn skills not pills. The problem, from little we are giving children pills for their ADHD, for depression, feeling that that is the solution, but it is short sighted. It is like burning down sections of the rainforest for cattle.

  • The recovery rate for surgery without blood transfusion is more rapid than with transfusion. We had a friend, whose father was operated on to have an organ removed, he had the operation without blood transfusion. In the same room was a man who had the same operation.

  • Art therapy can be effective for mental health disorders, and prevention. I've used art myself for self help with anxieties, as has my sister in law, it is effective and can stave off the need to use medication.
